First United Bank to Host “Ray Day” in Canyon Second Annual Community Celebration to be Held in Honor of Bank’s Founder

CANYON, Texas – First United Bank invites all members of the Canyon community to the second annual “Ray Day” Community Celebration. The Bank will host the event to show their appreciation for the Canyon community in honor of the Bank’s founder, Ray M. Bain.

On Friday, August 3, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., First United Bank employees will serve hot dogs, chips, roasted corn and ice cream to the public free of charge. The “Ray Day” Community Celebration will also include bounce houses, face painting, music and games for all ages.

One of First United Bank’s Founding Principles is COMMUNITY. The Bank’s Founder, Ray M. Bain believed that First United Bank has been successful due to the hard work and loyalty of their customers and by hiring great people who are truly committed to the organization and the communities they serve.

“Canyon is such a great place to live and work,” said Stuart Sutton, senior vice president of First United Bank. “We want to thank each and every person in this community for all they do to make Canyon great, and we hope everyone will come out and celebrate with us again this year.”

“Ray Day” will be held in the First United Bank parking lot located at 801 23rd St, Canyon, Texas. For more information about “Ray Day”, please contact Kara Gist at (806) 655-8000 or connect with First United Bank on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
