Susan Talkmitt never knew she wanted to teach, she never thought that some of her work would be on the front page of the Washington Post and yet dreams she never knew she had started to materialize. Over the years, a journey that began in the storied halls of Texas Tech studying ornamental horticulture has led to operating a successful antique store and even decorating two rooms in the White House for Christmas.
