On her first day working for the George W. Bush Administration in Washington DC, Alycyn Keeling was asked, “what are you going to do next?”. The journey that followed included a stop at the Bush Center in Dallas and ultimately has led to her being the Executive Director at the Wallace Theater in her hometown of Levelland. Since that time, Alycyn has been integral in establishing the Wallace Theater as a cornerstone of art and enrichment for the Levelland community.
In this episode, you’ll hear Alycyn share stories of the history of the Wallace Theater as well as the plans for the organization’s future. You’ll also hear about the importance of a vibrant arts program to the youth of today and the reality of “Living in Levelland and Loving It”.
