(AMARILLO, TEXAS) – Plains Bancorp, Inc., holding company for First United Bank, announces the promotion of Bryan Chaffin to vice president. Chaffin serves as a commercial lender at the Amarillo Center City Banking Center located at 8th & Tyler St. Chaffin has seven years of experience in the financial industry all of which have been with First United Bank. He is a 2010 graduate of West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Finance. Chaffin is also a 2014 graduate of the Texas Tech University College of Banking. Chaffin has served as a Loaned Executive for United Way of Amarillo and Canyon for three years, volunteers with Junior Achievement and serves on the Board of the High Plains Drifters Soccer Association.
