In This Time Of Uncertainty One Thing Is Certain. You’re Covered.

Stay Up-to-Date. You’re Covered.

Safety FirstAll of our Banking Center lobbies are open. All of our Banking Center lobbies will be adhering to our SafetyFIRST protocols.

We continue to serve you with SafetyFIRST as our number one priority. We have implemented protocols to ensure a safe environment for you and for our First United team members. We are proud to share that these protocols exceed the health and safety recommendations provided by the CDC as well as our state and local officials.

First United Bank strongly recommends that our vulnerable or at-risk customers take extra precautions to protect themselves while conducting their everyday banking needs. While we love to see you in person, the safest way for you to conduct your banking is through DIGITAL BANKING online or through our Mobile Banking App. If you need to speak with a Customer Service Representative please call (855) FUB-STAR (382-7827). We are ready to help you!

Per our State’s latest regulations for safely conducting business, we are opening our Banking Center lobbies under the following conditions:

  • All customers must be FEVER and SYMPTOM FREE.
  • All individuals must continue to follow SOCIAL DISTANCING guidelines and remain 6 feet apart from our team members and other customers.
  • All customers will have ACCESS to HAND SANITIZER and FACE MASKS in our Banking Center lobbies. (While not required, we strongly encourage the use of face masks when entering the Bank, or when within 6 feet of another person who is not a member of the individual household.)
  • Customers will be REQUIRED to REMOVE his/her FACE COVERING while conducting ANY TRANSACTION.

Our STARS will adhere to the CDC’s COVID-19 prevention guidelines:

  • All STARS will be FEVER and SYMPTOM FREE. We will be checking the temperature reading of our employees as they enter our buildings each day.
  • PLEXIGLASS SHIELDS are in place at each teller window to provide an extra layer of protection for customers and employees.
  • STARS will practice SOCIAL DISTANCING when conducting daily business activities.
  • STARS will be required to use HAND SANITIZER before and after each customer interaction.
  • Customer touch points (counters, doors, ATMs/ITMs and drive thru lanes) will be SANITIZED routinely throughout the day.

As we continue to work through these challenges together, we remain committed to keeping you informed about the steps we are taking to protect you, your loved ones and our team members while continuing to fulfill your unique financial needs. Thank you for putting your faith in us.

The Safest Way To Bank

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), one of the best ways to minimize the risk of contracting or inadvertently spreading the virus is to minimize contact. Because of this, we strongly recommend you enroll in DIGITAL BANKING for 24-hour access to your account(s). Here are a few ways you can continue to bank with us while ensuring the health and safety of you and your loved ones.

Check your balance, transfer funds, make deposits and pay bills with DIGITAL BANKING online or through the First United mobile app. Click here to start the enrollment process.

If you need access to cash immediately you can visit any one of our First United ATM and ITM locations. We encourage you to use hand sanitizer after your completed transactions.

You can access your account information by calling (888) 746-4178 (RING 1ST), 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

All consumer debit cards are now enabled with Apple Pay®, Samsung Pay® and Google Pay® which allows you to make contactless payments securely both in stores and online using your mobile device.

Economic Impact Payments

As part of the CARES Act recently passed by Congress, you may be eligible to receive an Economic Impact Payment (also known as a stimulus check) in the coming weeks.

The Treasury Department and the International Revenue Service (IRS) began distributing stimulus payments to eligible individuals and households during the last week of December. If you didn’t supply direct deposit information to the IRS, a physical stimulus check will be mailed to you. The first checks, for taxpayers with gross income up to $75,000 for individuals and up to $150,000 for married couples filing joint returns, are currently being distributed. It will likely take several months for all the checks to be distributed.

The safest way to deposit your stimulus check is with mobile deposit. Download our First United Mobile Banking App here.

Visit the Get My Payment portal at for information on eligibility requirements and the status of your payment.

Personal Banking Customers

We are working diligently to make banking from home as safe and easy as possible. We hope you’ll find these personal banking products and services helpful. In this time of uncertainty, we’ve got your back.

Mobile Deposit

We’ve temporarily increased our mobile deposit limit to $3,500 to allow more flexibility with your money. Securely deposit checks – including your payroll or government-issued stimulus check – with our First United Mobile App.

Enroll in e-Statements

If you’re not enrolled in eStatements, now is the time to do so. Securely receive your monthly bank statements electronically rather than through regular mail. View your statement anywhere you have access to email. eStatements are available for all personal checking and savings accounts.
