First United Bank to Host Cookout to Raise Funds for Flood Relief Efforts in Seagraves

SEAGRAVES, Texas – First United Bank will host a cookout on Friday, May 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the First United Banking Center located at 106 Main St. in Seagraves, Texas. Tickets can be purchased for $7 each from any employee at the First United Bank in Seagraves from now until Friday the 22. The ticket price includes a hamburger, chips, cupcake and a drink. All proceeds will directly benefit flood relief efforts for the Seagraves community. “This is a tough time for our community. We are willing to jump in and do whatever we can to help our friends who have been impacted by the recent floods,” S.J. Westbrook, senior vice president of First United Bank said. “We are a Bank founded on the principle of community. Rolling up our sleeves to help out a neighbor is just what we do.” In addition to the cookout, First United Bank made a $10,000 contribution to the Seagraves Flood Disaster Fund this past Thursday.
